TYING INSTRUCTIONS
Target fish: trout, grayling, chub
DRESSING:
Hook: 12 grub, carbon steel hook
Mounting thread: black
Body: red artron (alternatively brown or orange micro chenille). Mounted extended over the hook's bend
Thorax: same as body, wrapped on the hook's shank
Head: black foam
Legs: feasent fibers, knotted to imitate legs' joints.
Hackles: 4 to 5 turns if large CDC feather
Notes: great search pattern in the crane fly season, from May onwards.
